Anyways, that's called rubberbanding, what the poster above me said. You think your character has gone somewhere, but s/he really hasn't and eventually it will show that the avatar has gotten stuck somewhere. And for the poster above that, they cannot possibly target you with maelstrom when VoS is on. And if they do, you could, you know, move? If they get mind freeze on you, then you already messed up.

Everyone is like using it to run Drok's, wich I find bad, because they only can run to Drok's :P

I explored all of Tyria and Elona (with the exception of wurm areas) with a build like this. I'd definately say it can run more than just droks. Unless you mean the players ~~

I'm also Derv. and do many Droks run, what u said about VoS casting time is not actually true 100%. With 12 mysticism u got VoS lasting 9 secs so with a +20% enchants weapon it last 10,8 secs, so it means that u can put it on eternally if u want there's no need of using Holy Veil if u got a fast casting spell-breaker like Vow of Silence. The only problem in running with VoS is that if an Heretic, for example, is casting Crippling Anguish in the same moment u cast VoS u probably get it and u cannot stop casting VoS so u will be hexed, slowed, and probably u wll be killed cos u cannot either cast a regen or a remove hex or something to heal. I had a bad experience while running and taking a Anguish only because i casted mistic regen before. Btw when i'm solo farming HM some mesmers in NF also using anguish most time i'm able to cast mistic regen and then again VoS in 1 sec. No kidding
My runing build is only made by derv skills and some Gwen skills:
vital boon, mystic regeneration, enchanted haste, signet of mystic speed, fleeting stability, I am unstoppable (norn rank 10), armor of the great dwarf(deldrimor rank 5), Vow of Silence
*note double anti-knockdown skill: stability and i'm unstoppable; this is just to make easier and faster to have an anti-kd skill always on (i'm unstoppable is a shout +20armor,can't be knocked down and crippled) cos when shadows spawns u cannot stop in the middle and casting fleeting stability (1 sec casting) and having giants attacking you. Note also that u may pass over a trap done by pinesouls spirits in Lornar pass, then is really the end!! so i'm unstoppable is really useful.
Mysticism: 12 (recover 4energy when enchants ends)
earth prayer: 12
wind prayer 11
Gemstone axe of enchant 20%, +5 energy
Amethyst aegis of devotion, +45 hp while enchanted, -5dmg/20%
I also made some HM runs in NF and FoW with this build!

That is true, pretty much anything can run droks. Even a Rit :P

Actually going /D doesn't give you access to Mysticism points, so you'll only have VoS up for a little more than half the time. I've seen a lot of stuff run Drok's though, regardless of /D. Warrior of course, ranger, monk, even mesmer. It's just that their efficiencies and easy of use vary!

Fleeting Stability is maintainable whereas Balanced Stance is not. I'd use a staff based on the use of PvE skills and off-attribute requirements (Deadly Arts, for example) so I also have a chance of reducing casts and recharges too.

looks like the wiki build i have had saved in my templates for about 2 years now. I'm surprised it would be updated a bit now with EotN skills,
[I am unstoppable]
or even drunken [dwarven stability] would be a better choice because it increases you other stances duration for longer sprint times.
or even [dwarvin stability] + [drunken master] for the really long stance. dont forget the booze
